Just in case you don’t speak French, Dans le Sac means “in the bag”.

Based in Quebec, they’ve got bag making dans le sac with classically designed, exquisitely crafted totes, pouches, and bread bags that are geared toward making sustainable lifestyle choices an easy and convenient habit. Their mission is rooted in sustainability, and are committed to having a small footprint as a business, while serving to help others lessen their ecological load too.

All of their products are produced in Quebec, and they try to keep the manufacturing process as local as possible, and emphasize that each product ends up being a collaboration between at least 4 local businesses. For materials, they use cotton, hemp, and linen in their products (some of which is sourced from the US), but everything (including labels) is handmade in Quebec.

Functional and stylish, their aesthetic exudes classic French sensibilities. In other words: they’ll never go out of style. From corduroy bags in rich, earthy tones to flawless gingham print, the design of Dans le Sac’s products matches its quality in that it's made to last. Pairing such high-quality craftsmanship with such a timeless look makes perfect sense. It supersedes trends, and will last season after season, year after year.
